Digital x-rays

Digital x-rays are computer generated x-rays.

We use a sensor like the one pictured to capture the image, rather than the traditional film. We get an instant image on the computer screen, rather than having to wait for the film to be developed. The sensor is so sensitive to radiation that it can use up to 90% less radiation than traditional techniques. The image can be enlarged so the patient can see the x-ray as well, for a process we call co-diagnosis.

If the patient can SEE the decay, they understand their treatment needs in a whole new way.
